By accessing or using RubricReady's services at rubricready.com and rubricready.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

RubricReady provides an AI-powered platform for educators to design AI-resistant assignments and create assessment rubrics. Our services include the Assignment Auditor for testing assignments against AI models and the Rubric Creator for generating assessment rubrics.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of our service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Providing accurate and complete information

4. Subscription and Payments

RubricReady offers various subscription tiers including Free, Semester Pack, Pro, and Enterprise plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees for your selected plan
  • Provide valid payment information
  • Automatic renewal for recurring subscriptions (Pro plan)

The Semester Pack is a one-time purchase valid for 90 days. Pro subscriptions may be cancelled at any time, with access continuing until the end of the billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Resell or redistribute our services without authorization

6. Intellectual Property

Our Content: The RubricReady platform, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by RubricReady and protected by intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of all assignment prompts, rubrics, and other content you create using our platform. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely to provide our services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our AI vulnerability testing will identify all potential weaknesses in your assignments, or that our rubrics will meet all educational standards. The effectiveness of AI-resistant assignment design depends on many factors beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RubricReady shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our services.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which RubricReady operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
